Longville Area Information

Longville, Minnesota is another one of the significant northern Minnesota lake vacation towns. Longville sets in close proximity to many beautiful up north lakes including, Leech Lake, Woman Lake, Long Lake, Thunder Lake, Inguadona Lake, Wabedo Lake, Little Boy Lake, Girl Lake and dozens of others.

The Longville Community promotes many summer time events and outdoor activities. Longville is particularly known for its weekly turtle races. Kids of all ages, even adult kids come to downtown Longville each week to race their favorite speedy turtle.

Shopping is excellent in Longville with numerous tourist shops. Longville area vacationers can enjoy a good variety of cafes' and restaurants. Patrick's restaurant/supper club and bar is a local favorite. It overlooks Baby Lake and is within one block of downtown Longville.

Great fishing is a main reason people choose the Longville area to vacation. With dozens of lakes within just a few miles of Longville fishermen can go after most any species. Walleyes, Northerns, Muskies, Bass, Sunfish, Crappies and Perch are all choices to be had in the Longville area.

Woman Lake is a predominant lake that attracts many vacationers to the Longville area. Woman Lake is the largest lake near Longville.
